Antarctica - Casey Station ANARE 75 Part I - Summer November 2021 and December 2021

This is my 5th trip to Antarctica - Spending just over 12 months at Casey Station as part of ANARE 75 (Australian National Antarctic Research Expedition). I was the Officer in charge of Casey Weather Station.

C17 - In mid December members of the French and Italian IPEV (Polar Institute Paul-Emile Victor) expedition arrive at Wilkins on the A319.

The IPEV expeditioners stayed at Casey for 10 days before they could be flown to Concordia Station on the Dome C Plateau.

I was fortunate enough to be invite on a flight in a Twin Otter out to take some photographs of the Petersen Bank. This photo was taken on the way back to Casey.
